Smokers Wanted:

Personality and Smoking Study

If you are a cigarette smoker and at least 18 years old, you may be eligible to participate in a research study by University of Southern California investigators examining personality and smoking.  Participation involves completion of three sessions, two of which involve smoking in our lab.

Healthy Individuals aged 18-35 Wanted:

Influence of Genes and Emotions on Medication Effects Study

If you are healthy and between the ages of 18 and 35, you may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted by University of Southern California investigators examining how genes and emotions influence response to medications.  Participation involves taking a FDA approved drug that may affect mood on two occasions, as well as completing interviews and questionnaires.

Wanted.  Individuals aged 18 or older:

Emotion, Genes, & Health Study

If you are 18 years of age or older, you may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted by the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of Southern California that will examine how emotions, genes, and health are associated.  Participation involves attending a 90-150 minute session on the USC campus in which you will be asked to complete surveys. You will also be asked to provide a saliva sample for DNA testing.
